vlanMode
Module: GPON-MIB
OID (symbolic): GPON-MIB::vlanMode
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.13464.1.11.4.6.1.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: vlanMode: transparent = 0, tagged = 1, translation = 2, aggregation = 3, trunk = 4
What is vlanMode?
This sets how this ONT port handles VLAN tagging for traffic entering from the subscriber's LAN side, with modes such as tagged (adds a single fixed VLAN tag), translation (rewrites the customer's VLAN tag to a different network-side VLAN), aggregation, and trunk (passes multiple VLANs through, as in vlanList). The source description also lists a 'transparent' mode numbered 0, but the object's actual syntax only permits values 1 through 4, so transparent mode may not actually be selectable through this object as documented.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.13464.1.11.4.6.1.2 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> GPON-MIB::vlanMode
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.13464.1.11.4.6.1.2.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> GPON-MIB::vlanMode.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.13464.1.11.4.6.1.2.1 i <value>
