Description: Complete updates or patches can be downloaded using various protocols. The downloaded files will not be activated until requested using the install_software_update command. Example: download = ftp://name:passwd@machine.domain:port/full/path/to/firmwarefile. Type = without parameter for additional online help.
What is firmwareDownload?
Set this to a URL to download a complete firmware update or patch over FTP or another supported protocol; the file isn't activated until a separate install_software_update command is run. An admin staging a firmware upgrade would fetch the update file here first, then verify and install it separately.
