Description: Apps can be downloaded using various protocols. The downloaded app will not be activated until requested using the install command. Example: download = ftp://name:passwd@machine.domain:port/full/path/to/appfile.app Type = without parameter for additional online help.
What is appsDownload?
Set this to a URL (e.g. 'ftp://user:pass@host:port/path/appfile.app') to have the device download an app installation file over FTP or another supported protocol; the app isn't activated until a separate install command is issued. An admin staging a new app for later rollout would use this to fetch the file first.
