What is ipmcPortGroup?
This object holds a text representation of the port group associated with a specific IP multicast address entry, listing which switch ports are members receiving that multicast stream. An administrator reads this to see exactly which physical ports are currently forwarding a given multicast group's traffic, useful when troubleshooting a client not receiving an expected stream. It might contain a value like "1,3,5-8" listing the specific ports currently in that multicast group's forwarding set.
