Description: The Bridge Identifier of the bridge which this port considers to be the Designated Bridge for this port's segment.
What is bridgeStpAtmPortDesignatedBridge?
This object holds the Bridge Identifier of the bridge that this ATM port considers to be the Designated Bridge for its segment. It helps an admin confirm which upstream or peer bridge is currently responsible for forwarding traffic onto this segment under the current spanning-tree topology. A mismatch between the expected designated bridge ID and this reported value would flag an unexpected STP role change on the segment.
