Module: FLARION-TRAP-MIB
OID (symbolic): FLARION-TRAP-MIB::bbuOperStatus
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.8603.1.1.2.0.200
Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE
Description:
BBU operational status changed.
What is bbuOperStatus?
This notification indicates a change in the operational state of a Baseband Unit (BBU) card in a wireless infrastructure system. The trap fires when the BBU transitions between operational states such as up, down, or not present. Network and radio access network (RAN) operators use this to detect equipment health issues and ensure all BBU cards are functioning properly.
Examples
Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' FLARION-TRAP-MIB::bbuOperStatus snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.8603.1.1.2.0.200
Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):
snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
