swL2PortCtrlFlowCtrlState
Module: DGS-3700-12-L2MGMT-MIB
OID (symbolic): DGS-3700-12-L2MGMT-MIB::swL2PortCtrlFlowCtrlState
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.11.102.1.1.2.3.2.1.6
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: The flow control mechanism is different between full duplex mode and half duplex mode. For half duplex mode, the jamming signal is asserted. For full duplex mode, IEEE 802.3x flow control function sends PAUSE frames and receives PAUSE frames.
What is swL2PortCtrlFlowCtrlState?
Turns 802.3x flow control on or off for the port: in full-duplex mode the port sends and honors PAUSE frames to avoid buffer overruns, while in half-duplex mode it uses back-pressure jamming instead.
Examples
