OID (symbolic): CYCLADES-ACS-ADM-MIB::cyACSSerialHUP

Description: Exec signal_ras hup command
What is cyACSSerialHUP?
Writing to this object triggers the equivalent of the device's signal_ras hup command, which restarts the port-slave processes handling the device's serial console ports. Administrators use this to recover a hung or misbehaving serial port session without needing to reboot the entire device. For example, if a console port becomes unresponsive due to a stuck process, setting this object to restartportslave(1) would restart just that port-handling process to restore access.
