Description: The Downstream Unit State is an active-value. Note that because we have only one port per card then this state change is exactly the same as hcxDnstrmPortState. Note that initially standby will be the same state as offline. Later this will change when TX redundancy is supported. offline is default.
What is hcxDnUnitConfigState?
This read-write active-value enumeration (including offline, online, test, and standby, with offline as the default) sets the configured operational state of the downstream unit; since each TX card has only one port, this is equivalent to the port state, and standby currently behaves the same as offline until TX redundancy is supported. An admin sets this to bring a card into or out of service, for example for maintenance. For example, an admin sets hcxDnUnitConfigState to test before running diagnostics on a suspect TX card.
