This read-write attribute clears all of the ComPort's RF/transport statistics counters in this group, but only succeeds if hcxStatsControl is set to wrapCurr. It's the reset mechanism specifically for the ATM transport-quality stats table (TEI, HEC, errored seconds, FEC, unavailable seconds), separate from the similarly-named Ethernet-stats clear attribute. For example, after resolving a plant issue that had been driving up TEI and FEC counts, an engineer would set stuStatsClearStats to clear so future monitoring starts from a clean baseline for that STU's transport stats.
