What is hcxAlmStrDataValid?
This read-only true/false flag tells a management station whether the accompanying hcxAlmStrData text field holds real content for this specific alarm. Since not every alarm type carries a descriptive string, checking this flag first prevents an operator's tool from displaying a blank or stale string field. For example, a diagnostic-test-failure alarm might set this flag true while a simple LED-status alarm leaves it false.
