Description: Reflects whether compression option is turned on/off.
What is cnt2TransportCompressionOption?
This read-write enumerated INTEGER, on or off, shows and lets an administrator control whether the compression option is currently enabled for this transport link. An administrator toggles this to trade CPU load on the compression engine for reduced bandwidth usage on links where it's currently switched off. For example, setting cnt2TransportCompressionOption to on(1) on a bandwidth-constrained transport link engages the compression engine to reduce the data actually sent over that link.
