Module: CNT242-MIB

OID (symbolic): CNT242-MIB::cnt2sctNumber

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.333.2.4.2.3.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: The sub-channel number (0-255).

What is cnt2sctNumber?

This INTEGER gives the actual subchannel number, from 0 to 255, as recognized by the mainframe channel. An administrator uses this number when communicating with mainframe operations staff who reference the same subchannel numbering scheme directly. For example, when a mainframe operator reports an issue on subchannel 45, the admin matches cnt2sctNumber reading 45 to find the corresponding table row.
