Description: Clariion Device ID.
What is deviceID?
This read-only string identifies the specific EMC Clariion storage device that an event or status report pertains to. Since a storage environment often has multiple Clariion arrays, this field lets an admin tell exactly which physical unit an alert concerns. For example, when an event trap fires, deviceID tells the storage admin which of several Clariion arrays in the data center generated it.
