Description: Total count of proxy packets sent.
What is cvTotalProxyOutPackets?
This counter tracks VINES proxy packets the router has sent, used when it answers on behalf of another VINES node such as with proxy address resolution. An admin cares because it reveals how much the router is acting as a proxy intermediary for other nodes on the network. For example, in a network where some end nodes can't respond directly, this counter climbing shows the router is stepping in as their proxy.
