Description: Total count of number of VINES packets dropped due to no route.
What is cvTotalNoRouteDrops?
This counter tracks VINES packets the router discarded because it had no matching route to the destination. An admin cares because sustained increases mean real traffic is being silently dropped, pointing to missing or expired routes rather than a link failure. For example, after a remote VINES segment goes down, packets still addressed there accumulate against this counter until the stale route ages out or is withdrawn.
