What is cvTotalInputPackets?

This is a router-wide counter of the total VINES protocol packets received across all interfaces. An admin watches it as the top-level indicator of how much VINES traffic the router is processing, since a sudden spike could reflect a broadcast storm or unusual VINES workload. For example, comparing this counter before and after enabling VINES on a new interface confirms that additional traffic is now being counted.
