Description: Total count of number of VINES Echo packets generated.

What is cvTotalEchoOutPackets?

This counter tracks VINES Echo packets the router itself originated, such as replies to received echo requests. An admin cares because pairing it with the echo-in counter confirms the router is properly answering VINES ping requests rather than silently dropping them. For example, the echo-in counter rising without a matching rise here would suggest the router is receiving pings but failing to reply.
