Description: VINES protocol count of input SPP messages.
What is cvIfCountInSppMessages?
This per-interface counter tracks VINES SPP, or Sequenced Packet Protocol, messages received, VINES' reliable connection-oriented transport. An admin cares because SPP carries reliable VINES application traffic, so this reflects that class of traffic's volume on the interface. For example, a VINES application requiring guaranteed delivery would generate SPP traffic, visible as this counter incrementing on the interface it traverses.
