What is cvIfCountInBroadcastPackets?
This per-interface counter tracks VINES broadcast packets received on that interface. An admin cares because comparing this across interfaces reveals which segment is generating the most VINES broadcast traffic, useful when hunting for a broadcast storm. For example, one interface's count spiking abnormally compared to its peers would point to a misbehaving device on that specific segment.
