Description: VINES protocol count of input ARP Assignment Request messages.
What is cvIfCountInArpAssignmentRequests?
This per-interface counter tracks ARP Assignment Request messages received, sent when a VINES node without an address requests one be assigned. An admin cares because a rising count reflects new or address-less VINES nodes joining that segment and requesting addresses. For example, plugging a fresh VINES client into that segment for the first time would generate an Assignment Request, incrementing this counter.
