What is cvForwNeighborUsageType?
This read-only INTEGER indicates how a given path will be used to forward a message: next, roundRobin, or backup. An admin checks this to understand the router's current forwarding strategy for a specific neighbor, distinguishing primary paths from those held in reserve. A path marked backup(3) tells the admin that neighbor is only used for forwarding if the primary next-hop path becomes unavailable.
