Description: A unique value, greater than zero, for each physical interface. It is recommended that values are assigned contiguously starting from 1. The value for each interface must remain constant at least from one re-initialization of the entity's network management system to the next re- initialization.
What is acSonetStatusIndex?
Provides a unique numeric identifier for each physical SONET interface on the ATMedia device, typically assigned sequentially starting from 1. This index persists across management system restarts and is used to reference individual SONET interfaces in monitoring tables.
