What is acChassisTemperatureClearTrap?

This is a notification (trap) that fires when the chassis temperature returns to the normal operating range after a high-temperature condition was detected. It reports that thermal conditions have stabilized on the device. Operators receive this alert to confirm that a temperature problem has resolved and normal operation has resumed.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' APPIAN-CHASSIS-MIB::acChassisTemperatureClearTrap
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.2785.2.1.0.4

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
