This OID controls whether the switch looks at the 802.1p priority field (a 3-bit QoS tag in the VLAN header) when deciding if an Ethernet frame matches an ACL rule. Network engineers enable this when they want to apply different ACL actions based on traffic priority, such as dropping low-priority traffic during congestion. Setting this to enabled means packets tagged with priority 7 (highest) could be allowed while priority 0 packets are dropped, giving granular traffic control.
