Description: Specifies if the switch will change priorities of packets that match the access profile DSCP field or not. Replace DSCP and replace ToS precedence can not both be supported.
What is swACLIpv6RuleEnableReplaceDscp?
This OID is a boolean flag that enables or disables rewriting the DSCP (Differentiated Services Code Point) field in matching IPv6 packets; note that DSCP rewriting and ToS-precedence rewriting are mutually exclusive. A network engineer enables this when they want to use the more modern DSCP QoS model instead of legacy ToS to mark traffic with specific service classes. Setting this to 'enable' (or 1) allows the switch to replace the DSCP value in matching packets with a new value you define elsewhere.
