swACLIpRuleReplacePriority

Module: ACLMGMT-MIB

OID (symbolic): ACLMGMT-MIB::swACLIpRuleReplacePriority

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.12.9.3.2.1.17

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-create

Description: Specifies whether the packets that match the access profile will change the 802.1p priority tag field by the switch or not.

What is swACLIpRuleReplacePriority?

This enables or disables rewriting the 802.1p priority tag on packets that match the ACL rule. Network engineers configure this to enforce QoS policies by automatically remarking traffic priorities at the switch level based on classification rules. A value of 1 (enabled) combined with priority 6 would automatically upgrade all matching packets to priority 6, the highest level for network control traffic.
