What is hipsExpBytes?
This Gauge32 defines the hard byte-lifetime limit for IPSec tunnels; traffic exceeding this triggers immediate SA termination. Operators configure and monitor this to enforce strict security policies and prevent indefinite tunnel use. A value of 50000 KB forces rekeying after 50 MB, preventing key exposure.
