Can I run IPNetwork client on another computer, but access the same monitoring database?
Q: I would like to install IPNetwork Monitor on another computer, but keep access to monitoring database located on different computer. How can I do that?
A: You cannot run the IPNetwork Monitor Client from another workstation.
You can consider using Remote Desktop Connection to control the IPNetwork client from another workstation. Alternately, you can use IPNetwork Web interface for read-only access from another workstation. You will not be able to create/change monitor settings from Web interface – you will be able to see reports, current status, and start/stop/poll monitors as required.
