What is web-interface?

Web interface is a browser-based dashboard that lets you view monitoring status, reports, and alerts without using the Windows desktop client. It’s especially useful for quick checks, sharing report links with colleagues, and accessing monitoring information from different machines and locations using a standard web browser.

IPNetwork Monitor Web interface. IPNetwork Monitor includes a Web interface with four main tabs: Dashboard (overall system summary), Reports (generate and view reports for selected timeframes), Alerts (recent notifications and acknowledgements), and Current Problems (what is currently in Down or Warning state). The layout is consistent across tabs: a Tree panel on the left for navigation, a Parameters panel at the top for selecting report types and time ranges, and a main content area for results. Reports can be generated for different groups (hosts, monitor types, states) and for predefined or custom time intervals, and report pages can be shared as direct links that open the interface with the relevant object and timeframe preselected. IPNetwork Monitor also provides a lightweight mobile version of the web interface (e.g., a URL ending in nms_mobile) optimized for smaller screens. For security, the Web interface can be configured to use HTTPS, and access restrictions (like authentication) can be enabled via Web Interface settings; unused access should be limited according to your security policy.
