Monitors included into Mail Servers – Generic Mail Server template
Monitors from this application template show availability and performance of a Generic Mail Server (SMTP/SMTPS, POP3/POP3S, IMAP/IMAPS), also can send an optional test message via the monitored SMTP server. Monitors description
SMTP port (enabled by default) shows if SMTP server answers on default port (25).
IMAP port (enabled by default) shows if IMAP server answers on default port (143).
POP3 port (enabled by default) shows if POP3 server answers on default port (110).
IMAP, TLS shows if IMAP server accepts secure connections, forced TLS.
IMAP, TLS if available shows if IMAP server accepts connections, TLS or non-secure.
IMAP, non-secure connection shows if IMAP server accepts non-secure connections.
IMAPS shows if IMAP server accepts SSL-encrypted connections.
IMAPS port shows if IMAP server answers on SSL-secured port (993).
POP3, TLS shows if POP3 server accepts secure connections, forced TLS.
POP3, TLS if available shows if POP3 server accepts connections, TLS or non-secure.
POP3, non-secure connection shows if POP3 server accepts non-secure connections.
POP3S shows if POP3 server accepts SSL-encrypted connections.
